[ New Phone ] Yesterday I got a new phone because my LG White Chocolate broke. The problem with my Choclate phone was that whenever I slid my phone open, it'd get all blurry / pixelated. I was only able to call people on my contact list and recieve calls. I didn't want to get GSM unlocked phone so I went with T-Mobile phones. T-Mobile had a Samsung deal where if I extend my contract by 2 years, I get the phone for free. The only good Samsung phone they had that looked decent was the Samsung Blast. So that's my new phone :) I need to get a microSD card for it so that I can add my own ringtons / wallpapers. I also went with a friend to eat Korean BBQ :D. I ended up paying for us both because I am such a nice person. Afterwards we went to some yogurt place. It was kinda like a salad bar but with yogurt. You choose your yogurt flavor and the amount, and then you go down the line and add w/e toppings you want. At the end they weigh it and you pay for it :). I got strawberry yogurt with lychee, gummy bears, and jelly bean toppings lol. Pretty good stuff except that the jelly beans were rock hard. Labels: korean bbq, phone, yogurt Wednesday, June 18, 2008
[ Metal Gear Solid 4 ] So I beat the Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. It's supposed to be the last of the series and it's supposed to tie everything together. The ending was not what I expected it to be. The ending was really really long; it was kinda like watching a full length movie and I'm not exaggerating. The game was really cool though, I beat it in 16 - 17 hours. I am going to play it again, but this time on very very easy so that I can try to unlock stealth :) Seems impossible though because in order to get stealth, I have to go through the whole game without being spotted. I might as well also go for the bandana (unlimited ammo). In order to get the bandana I have to beat the game w/o killing anyone, not even the bosses... [ Looong trip ] I was really bored at home and wanted to do something. I told my friend Mos that we should bike / skate to our friend MIke's house. And with the gas prices the way they are now, it sounded like a brilliant idea. I got on my bike and waited for my friend Mos to come over on his skateboard. We left my house (A) and headed towards B. My friend went into the store that was on the corner called Penas Market lol. Funny name, ghetto store. He was looking for something cool to drink but everything was pretty warm @__@. I would have went inside but...I had a bike and no chain lock :(. So he came out and we headed on our way to C. We were planning to stop by the gas station there to get something cold to drink. When we got there, he got blue ICEE and I just stuck with the water bottle that I brought. Now from C to D was a long way so we took a rest somewhere in the middle for about 5 minutes. Our legs started cramping up and sheit and it was really hot outside. When we got to Mike's house, we watched some TV for about 45 minutes. We got bored and wanted to go to our friend Davis' house. My friend Mike had some roller blades from when he was little but they were too small to fit him. So he had to walk :( So we had me on a bike, Mos on a skateboard, and Mike on foot. We went to Davis' house (E) but he wasn't there...so we went to Fwhich is Jamba Juice and Subway. The map doesnt have it on there because the place is pretty new. We got our subway and I got my Jamba Juice :) I ordered White Gummy Bear flavor from the secret menu. Very good stuff. Now for the long ride back home :( We had to follow our friend Mike back to his house because we didn't want him to walk all by himself. So we went down towards the first dot and split up. From there came the looooong ride home. It was getting really really cold and the WIND was against us. I could barely pedal on my bike so I had to get off and walk. We tried taking shorcuts but we ended up getting lost and having to backtrack a few times (the white dots on the map between Airport Way and Union Road). By the time we got to Louise we were wayy to tired. We pretty much walked the whole way back. We ended up getting home around 9 PM. According to google maps the whole trip was about 16 miles. [ Work ] My dad said that my old supervisor wants me back to work. It hasn't been 6 months and he wants me back sometime in July. If I do get the job on July I can save up for some important things. No more games, no more TVs, no more computer parts, no more useless crap. And I also get a $300 check coming in soon for my tax refund. Good times good times [ Work ] Wednesday, May 21, 2008
[ Schools Out ] Summer starts for me! I think I did pretty good on both the finals I had today. J/k I don't want to jynx / jinx myself. Pretty easy though, since we were able to use a 3x5 notecard in both my classes.  Pretty nice right? I was able to fit the whole chapter on one side. This was probably the only time that I really studied for tests; I'm so unmotivated. But I studied a lot in the library during my 1 hour break. Tae Yang's album helped a lot :) I am in love with it (I couldnt wait for the release so I dled it). I really like his song Make Love featuring Kush. Never heard of Kush before but he sounds a lot like TOP. Anyways, I am hoping I did okay on the tests..I know I got all the essay and theoretical questions down, hopefully it's enough to raise my grade in the class. When I was driving home I noticed the gas prices.........All three of the gas stations by my house have all broke the $4.00 mark. Sighhhh, it takes $45 to fill my car up from empty to full. [ My Day / Big Bang - Hot ] Its been a while since I've written / wrote (no idea which to use) about my day. So w/e. Today was the last day for lecture classes, and next Monday is a study day in all my classes. I have my finals on Wednesday and Friday; good times. The only final I really have to worry about is Anthro Lab... After school I went and finally deposited my income tax return. Haven't been to the bank in years, but it was nice in there, nice and cool. After that I went over to Wendy's, my hot and juicy red head friend ;). I got a milkshake and it took like 30 minutes to get my order. I didn't get a straw or anything so I couldn't really drink it while driving. By the time I got home half of it was melted >:( Then I watched 50,000 videos on YouTube before my friends came over. We watched the season finale of The Office and then I sent them home >;) Some day right? I was browsing around a Korean video site and found this video of Big Bang and uploaded it onto YouTube. Kinda old but I havent seen it before: They do a very good job on this song, my favorite from 1TYM. I would like to get my hair cut like GD in this video one day. [ Se7en's Press Conference ] I am amazed at how fast Se7en's English improved. Huge huge improvement in this video compared to the last one that I saw about 4 months ago. His song Them Girls has a really nice beat and the song's really catchy. Lyrics are a bit too commercialized but cant blame 'em because that's what sells in the US.
